Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location: Glenview, IL
Pay Rate: $52 per hour
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 8 Weeks

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week contract opportunity in Glenview, Illinois. This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospital environment and providing quality care to patients requiring cardiac and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and overall conditions.
Assess patients and recognize changes in their health status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care.
Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.

Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Previous telemetry nursing experience.
Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required by the facility.
Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
