Registered Nurse (RN) - Castle Hayne, NC

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM | $52/Hour

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care in a secure juvenile justice environment in Castle Hayne, NC.

This position is ideal for a nurse who is comfortable working independently and has experience with adolescents, pediatrics, schools, public health, correctional/juvenile settings, and/or emergency nursing.

Position Details

• Location: Castle Hayne, NC
• Pay: $52 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Setting: Secure juvenile justice environment

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred:

• Adolescent nursing
• Pediatric nursing
• School nursing
• Public health
• Correctional or juvenile healthcare
• Emergency nursing

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams or WebEx
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

Important Position Details

This position requires a significant level of independence. The RN will work closely with direct care staff and may serve as the sole on-site nurse for portions of the shift.

While strong support and resources are available, candidates must be comfortable providing care and making clinical decisions within a secure juvenile justice environment.
