We are seeking experienced PACU Registered Nurses (RN) for per diem and local contract opportunities at an outpatient surgery center in Littleton, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse looking for per diem flexible scheduling or a short-term contract assignment.

PACU Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia following outpatient surgical procedures.

• Assess vital signs, pain levels, and overall patient condition during recovery.

• Administer medications and provide post-operative nursing care.

• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

• Document patient assessments, interventions, and recovery progress.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other clinical staff to ensure safe patient care.

PACU RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Previous PACU or post-anesthesia recovery experience required.

• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-monitoring skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a surgical care team.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, as required by the facility.
