We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to support a healthcare facility in Virginia Beach, VA. This is a great opportunity for a qualified Medical Assistant looking for a longer-term contract assignment.

Position Details

• Location: Virginia Beach, VA
• Pay: $24 per hour
• Assignment: 8-9 months, with possibility to extend
• Schedule: Full-time

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Previous clinical experience required
• Strong patient-care and communication skills
• Professional and dependable
• Must be able to successfully pass a government background check

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and examinations
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Assist with clinical and administrative duties
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care
